EPBC Update – Opportunity for Public Comment

On 22 January 2024, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) published the draft guidelines for the Public Environment Report (PER) required for the EPBC assessment of Gelliondale Wind Farm, and an opportunity exists for interested members of the public to provide comment on those guidelines.
 
The Gelliondale Wind Farm project involves the development of a wind energy facility comprising of up to 13 wind turbine generators, two operations and maintenance facilities, and a battery energy and storage system.
 
The Gelliondale Wind Farm project is a $300M project, providing local investment, local jobs, and local generation of clean renewable energy.
